invoitix announces Successful Closing of Series-B Round

invoitix announces Successful Closing of Series-B Round of EUR 6.0 million and Appointment of a new Chairman and a new Chief Financial Officer

invoitix ag is proud to announce the successful closing of its Series-B funding round in the amount of EUR 6.0 million. Since the last capital increase one year ago, invoitix was able to increase its turnover by 150% to EUR 40 million in 2021. invoitix currently employs 80 team members in 8 offices across Europe and in India, and recently has opened new offices in Poland, Czechia, Lithuania and Bulgaria.

invoitix’ mission is to become the leading digital invoicing, payment processing, and working capital end-to-end platform for the European road logistics sector, providing its members improved liquidity, transactional security, a state-of-the-art cloud-based app, counterparty protection, fuel- and working capital solutions.

The funding will accelerate invoitix’ expansion throughout Europe and into new product categories. Additionally, invoitix’ digital platform will be further developed offering clients and cooperation partners more functionalities to increase flexibility and ensure scalability.

invoitix was also able to strengthen its leadership team with the appointment of Markus Meier as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the election of Sandro Dorigo as Chairman of the Board of invoitix.

Markus Meier joins invoitix with broad experience in corporate and operational finance, most recently as CFO of Swiss Prime Site (SWX: SPSN), a listed Swiss real estate company focused mainly on commercial and retail real estate.

With deep functional expertise and technical knowledge in all aspects of corporate finance, financial planning, accounting and risk management. Sandro Dorigo has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Sandro brings a wealth of experience as one of the co-founders of Leonteq AG (SWX: LEON), a leading Swiss fintech company specialized in structured investment products and long-term savings solutions.

Markus Meier’s bio

Markus Meier, born 1964, is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a BSc Business Administration Degree from ZHAW School of Management and Law. His previous experiences include Head of Corporate Accounting & Tax at Ascom AG, CFO of Mobimo Holding AG, Jelmoli Holding AG and most recently as CFO of Swiss Prime Site AG.

Sandro Dorigo’s bio

Sandro Dorigo, born 1978, holds a degree as a Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA) as well as a Federal diploma for expert in finance and investments from the Swiss Financial Analysts Association (AZEK). Sandro Dorigo’s professional experiences include CEO of Leonteq Securities (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., Global Head Business Development at Leonteq as well as Director at Lehman Brothers (Equity Derivatives) and Julius Bär (Engineering & Product Development).
